Steamed Two-Toned Okara Nutella Buns / 豆渣巧克力双味蒸包


Ingredients / 材料:
  • 250 g German #550 flour
  • 40 g Caster sugar
  • 3 g Baking powder
  • 2 g Instant dry yeast
  • 80 g Okara, cooked
  • 230 g Lukewarm water
  • 2 tbsp Nutella
  • 250克 德国#550面粉
  • 40克 细砂糖
  • 3克 烤粉
  • 3克 即溶干酵母
  • 80克 熟豆渣
  • 230毫升 温水
  • 2大勺 巧克力酱

Method / 做法:
  1. Blend the flour, sugar, baking powder and dry yeast together in a mixing bowl. Add in okara and water. Stir until the dough is elastic and smooth. Remove and shape the dough into a round, cover with plastic film and set aside for 20 minutes.
  2. Divide the proofed dough into two portions, and mix one portion of dough with the nutella until incorporated. Divide each colour of dough into 12 portions.
  3. Roll out each portion of dough into a strip. Place one strip of plain dough on the work surface, and top with the nutella strip. Roll one end of the stacked strips towards the center and the other end to the center to make S shape. Place them in a steamer lined with cheesecloth and allow it to rest for 10 minutes. Place the steamer on a pot of boiling water and steam on high heat for 10 minutes.
  1. 面粉,砂糖,烤粉和干酵母混合放入搅拌盆里,加入豆渣和温水搅拌成光滑的面团。取出后揉圆,盖上保鲜膜,室温松弛20分钟左右。
